Taylor Swift could face a tumultuous 2025 season with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the last thing anyone wants to see

Taylor Swift could be living a horror season in 2025 with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs may fall off the list of contenders.
The last Super Bowl, where the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes were seriously crushed by the Philadelphia Eagles, continues to have consequences. Several NFL analysts believe that the Chiefs have taken a step backward and that the upcoming season could be very difficult for Patrick Mahomes and company.
At betting houses, the Chiefs are favorites to return to the Super Bowl in the AFC, but analysts don’t see it that way. Although doubting Patrick Mahomes’ ability to respond to adversity could be risky, the fact remains that there are several strong contenders in the AFC, which could make things difficult for the Chiefs.
Of course, the Chiefs will remain one of the most-watched teams. All eyes will be on the team not only because of Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce, but also to see how the team responds after cruelly failing to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
According to Insider, the Chiefs won’t be contenders in 2025
Despite a 15-2 record last season, the Kansas City Chiefs left many doubts. Patrick Mahomes didn’t surpass 4,000 passing yards-something unusual for him given his high standards-and he couldn’t be the explosive quarterback we’ve seen throughout his successful career.
But it wasn’t just him-Travis Kelce had a forgettable year, failing to surpass 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in a decade. Receiver Rashee Rice got injured, and rookie Xavier Worthy was inconsistent. However, all are returning and focused on chasing the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Still, analyst Jason McIntyre believes the Chiefs won’t even make the playoffs.
Jason McIntyre conducted an analysis and listed six teams as serious Super Bowl contenders this season: first, the San Francisco 49ers; followed by the Buffalo Bills; then the Washington Commanders along with the Philadelphia Eagles; the Los Angeles Rams; and in sixth place, the Baltimore Ravens.
It will be interesting to see how Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs respond in 2025 after these predictions. However, for now, betting markets still see the Chiefs returning to the Super Bowl. But the AFC West is increasingly competitive, with the Chargers, the Broncos-who have taken a step forward with Bo Nix-and even the Raiders, who also appear to be a team to watch.
