It’s no surprise that a lot of little girls love Taylor Swift. Every one of her eras has something that appeals to her younger audience, whether it’s the music or the fashion. One mom in Oklahoma paid homage to Swift’s Red era by throwing her 2-year-old daughter a birthday party inspired by the album. Our invitation must have gotten lost in the mail.
She was ‘feeling 2!’
Olivia Castrejana’s daughter Lucille is one of Taylor Swift’s biggest (tiny) fans, and when it was time to throw the toddler a party for her second birthday, mom knew exactly what kind of party would make her baby girl the happiest. She shared an Instagram Reel of the party, and she went all out.
Lucille is Feelin’ 2! ❤️ ‼️ ” Castrejana captioned the video. The whole party was built around the Swift song “22”, which was one of the major singles from the Red album. In the song, she sings, “I don’t know about you / But I’m feeling 22.”
Much of the decor for the party borrowed from the music video for the song, including her red heart sunglasses and the “a lot going on at the moment” shirt.
The attention to detail was amazing
Castrejana’s attention to details for the party would impress even the most dedicated Swiftie. The party included a “Feelin’ 2″–themed bounce house/ball pit, cardboard cutouts of Swift, red and white balloons, and a cake that read, “I’m feeling two … Lucille’s version,” complete with Swift’s signature red heart sunglasses. Guests munched on “Red”-themed cookies and got to pose against an album-themed backdrop.
For the party, Castrejana and Lucille wore matching red-and-white-striped dresses with red ribbons in their hair, and the mom added a swipe of Swift’s signature red lipstick.
Lucille definitely had ‘The Best Day’
“I cannot thank the vendors who made this party happen enough,” she wrote in the post’s caption, tagging the many vendors who helped make the party a success.
Some of the party’s attendees praised her efforts in the comments. “An amazing party!!!” one parent wrote, adding that her child “had so much fun ❤️.”
Several commenters tagged Swift and Taylor Nation so they could see how awesome the party was. So far, neither have commented.
