Everybody’s coming in,” Jason Kelce said. “Trav always travels like, full.”
Is Taylor Swift going to the Super Bowl? Jason Kelce thinks so.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center — and big brother to Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce — told PEOPLE that he expects the “Fortnight” singer to make an appearance at the big game in New Orleans on Sunday.
“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” Kelce said. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels like, full.”
The center said that his brother, who is playing in his third consecutive Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, travels with a massive entourage. “Even when he’s in regular season mode… he’s always got a bunch of his friends there. It’s been this way his whole career,” Kelce said. “He’s kept in touch much better with a lot of the people from our hometown. So there’s always a loaded contingency for the Kelces, wherever we’re at.”
Swift previously received a ton of press at 2024’s Super Bowl LVIII, where she cheered on Travis Kelce alongside Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Keleigh Teller from a private suite. She joined the Chiefs on the field, where her celebratory embrace with Kelce was recorded and eventually released via Inside the NFL’s “Mic’d Up” segment. “Oh, I cannot believe that,” Swift said of the Chiefs’ overtime win. “I can’t believe you! How did you do that?”
The “Shake It Off” singer has attended numerous Chiefs games over the last year and a half, first appearing when the team faced off against the Chicago Bears in Sept. 2023. She then brought Lively into the fold, alongside the Gossip Girl actress’ husband, Ryan Reynolds, and his Deadpool & Wolverine costar, Hugh Jackman, at an October game versus the New York Jets.
Swift isn’t the only TIME Person of the Year set to attend this year’s Super Bowl. President Donald Trump is also expected to watch the game in person at the Caesars Superdome.
Travis Kelce reacted to Trump’s forthcoming attendance at a press conference. “That’s awesome. It’s a great honor,” Kelce told multiple outlets on Wednesday, including PEOPLE. “I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there — it’s the best country in the world — and that’s pretty cool.”
The Super Bowl Halftime Show will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar this year, and will also feature an appearance from his frequent collaborator SZA. They’re not the only musicians on the Super Bowl ticket: Jon Batiste will perform the national anthem, Ledisi will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Lauren Daigle will perform “America the Beautiful” with Trombone Shorty.
Super Bowl LIX will air Sunday, Feb. 9, on Fox, Fubo, and the Fox Sports app at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
