Where to watch Super Bowl LIX around the Kansas City metro

Published

on

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Even though the Super Bowl is states away, that doesn’t stop Chiefs Kingdom from throwing some major parties across the Kansas City metro.

With the astronomical prices of Super Bowl tickets and the rising costs of gas, the option of going to New Orleans for many is slim to none. Not to mention the big game is always on a Sunday and most of us don’t have the luxury of taking the next day off.

Despite this, there are plenty of fun parties, gatherings, tailgates, and… well… raves, across the city to enjoy the championship rematch between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles with the rest of Chiefs Kingdom.

So, with that being said, here is a list of a few places to consider enjoying and celebrating your Super Bowl Sunday:

1. KC Live! at Power and Light
Verizon FanFest at KC Live!

When: 11 a.m. – TBD
Where: Power and Light District — Downtown Kansas City
What: The “all-day block party” will feature live performances, on-stage contests, local food trucks, giveaways and more.
