The couple’s relationship status has been a topic of speculation ever since the singer and football player started dating in 2023. Now, Kelce is putting an end to recent gossip about his romance.
Following a summer of love which saw Kelce tour with Swift, some fans speculated the couple could be engaged. Elsewhere, reports suggested Kelce is planning to pop the big question soon.
Page Six, for instance, claimed an insider shared promising news. “The engagement is happening soon,” the insider told the publication. However, a representative for Kelce has countered the rumours.
“Kelce’s rep denied Friday that there are any official engagement plans in place,” Page Six reported.
What is clear, however, is that the couple’s sweet relationship seems to be going from strength to strength. Not only has the pro football player updated his VIP suite to include a sweet nod to his girlfriend, according to eagle-eyed fans, but he’s been looking out for Swifties supporting the Kansas City Chiefs.
One recent interaction saw the player throw his gloves to a young football fan wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt, making her day in the process. The adorable moment quickly went viral with fans of the singer and football player loving the gesture.
Both the superstar and the athlete have a growing shared fanbase spurred on by Kelce’s appearances at multiple Eras Tour shows over the summer. His attendance clearly delights fans with many flocking to social media to praise his support of his partner.
Most memorably, fans went wild when Kelce joined Swift onstage at Wembley Stadium earlier this summer in a hilarious cameo.
Whether or not he makes any more Eras Tour performances remains to be seen. Kelce’s schedule is ramping up as the NFL season approaches. Swift is currently touring Europe, but she’s got several more tour dates later this year meaning the couple could once again perform together before Swift’s record-breaking tour ends in December.
