WATCH: Jason Kelce Names The Greatest TE Of All-Time
Legendary former NFL center Jason Kelce is now retired, which means he now has a lot more time to share his opinion.
In a recent appearance on The Big Podcast, Kelce stated that he believes his younger brother, Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, is arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history.
“I mean, he’s going to go down in history…no offense to all the other tight ends in Tony and Gronk…He’s up there for the greatest ever,” Kelce said.
It would definitely be considered favoritism if Travis Kelce was someone who made a couple of Pro Bowls and had maybe one or no Super Bowl rings.
But he has accomplished so much in his historic career.
The 34-year-old is a nine-time Pro-Bowler and a three-time Super Bowl champion.
He holds many NFL records, including career postseason receptions (165), career postseason touchdowns by a tight end (19), 1,000-yard seasons by a tight end (7), and receiving yards in a single season by a tight end (1,416).
The former Cincinnati Bearcat is at the heart of one of the league’s best all-time dynasties.
