Meghan Markle would have “caused a media storm” at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding had she attended, it has been claimed by a royal expert.

Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster, is a close friend of both Prince Harry and his brother Prince William. The Duke got married yesterday, with his wedding to Olivia Henson taking place on Friday, June 7.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan missed out on the nuptials of Harry’s close friend the billionaire Duke of Westminster, which took place at Chester Cathedral, with it now claimed that Meghan would have caused a “media storm” had she attended.

It was previously reported that the Duke of Sussex turned down a “save the date” to the wedding to avoid an “awkward” encounter with family members he is no longer close with.
