Kansas City Chiefs 2025 Pro Bowl Games leading vote-getters look much different than in past seasons
The NFL has released its first wave of 2025 Pro Bowl Games vote leaders. Fan voting has been open for a full week, and things look much different from what Kansas City Chiefs fans are used to seeing.
A total of 26 Chiefs players are up for selection to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games this year, including 20 potential first-time selections. Typically, it’s a star-studded list at the top for Kansas City, with QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce, and DT Chris Jones leading the way as top Pro Bowl vote-getters in the AFC. This year, the trio is nowhere to be found.
Now, the leading vote-getters for the Chiefs are a pair of offensive linemen, a rookie listed at a position that he’s not actually playing, and a veteran vying for his first-ever Pro Bowl selection.
Here are the players who are among the leading vote-getters for the AFC Conference:
FB Carson Steele
LG Joe Thuney
C Creed Humphrey
LS James Winchester
The Chiefs also have the third-most Pro Bowl Games votes of any NFL team, behind only the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens. That shouldn’t come as a surprise, given the team’s over-arching popularity.
Steele and Winchester are both competing for their first-ever Pro Bowl selection. Thuney and Humphrey could earn their third consecutive selection to the Pro Bowl should they keep pace.
As for Mahomes, Kelce, and Jones, they’re currently somewhere behind Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers, and New York Jets DT Quinnen Williams. The trio of star players will need a big push from fan-voting to earn selections to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida.

Fans can vote as often as they would like to help determine the 88-man roster and send the league’s best players at each position to Orlando for the Pro Bowl Games starting Monday, Nov. 25, until Monday, Dec. 23. You can vote at ProBowl.com/Vote or the Chiefs’ official team site:
Social voting on X (formerly Twitter) begins during the final two weeks of voting (Dec. 9 – Dec. 23). Voting is simple. Either 1. Post the first and last name of the player. 2. Tag the player’s official X handle or 3. Create a hashtag including the player’s first and last name. All three of these methods must include the hashtag: #ProBowlVote.
Example: #ProBowlVote Patrick Mahomes
During the final two days (Dec. 22 – Dec. 23) votes on social will count as double.
The consensus tally of votes of fans, players, and coaches will determine who is selected for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. Each group’s vote counts as one-third toward determining the all-star players who will be picked. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Friday, Dec. 27.
