According to Jason Kelce, allegations that he is the person shouting the Philadelphia Eagles’ team name at a Las Vegas Adele concert is nothing but “fake news.”

Kelce shut down speculation that he was behind the viral moment on the Wednesday, February 14, episode of his Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “The guys behind us were Eagles fans and they saw that I was at the Adele concert, and they were fired up,” Jason explained.

After Adele asked audience members who they were rooting for to win Super Bowl LVIII, the fans shouted out “Eagles!” Jason continued: “And everybody’s saying I screamed out ‘Eagles,’ but I didn’t scream out ‘Eagles.’”

Jason went on to gush about the singer, noting Adele was his favorite concert “music wise” that he and wife Kylie Kelce attended on their trip to Sin City for the Super Bowl. ”I like those old power ballads,” he shared, adding, “Adele’s voice is so freaking, just powerful. [It] Hits you. It was a tremendous show. They did a great job over there at Caesars [Palace].”

Jason, 36, and Kylie, 31, were spotted in the crowd at Adele’s “Weekends With Adele” concert on Friday, February 9, per TikTok footage. The Philadelphia Eagles center was seen standing holding a beverage can in one hand and a smartphone in the other, seemingly recording Adele’s rendition of “When We Were Young.” Kylie stood next to Jason, matching him in an all-black outfit.

At one point during the concert, Adele, 35, asked if there were any Kansas City Chiefs fans in the crowd. Jason subsequently yelled out, “Eagles,” while other fans shouted various things.

“You sound drunk and like you’re a football fan,” Adele joked.

Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, which he runs with brother Travis Kelce, reposted the concert footage onto its page. “Damn that one Eagles fan sounds super familiar,” an X post read.

Jason and Kylie traveled from their Pennsylvania home to Sin City to watch Travis, 34, play in the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11. Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his teammates will play the San Francisco 49ers for the chance to clinch the NFL championship.

“I love just being a fan. Being able to root and just watch good football. I can’t wait to watch it,” Jason told NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe earlier this month of cheering for his sibling. “Whenever you’re watching a loved one compete there’s a very prideful feeling that you have. That’s very different than competing [on] your own.”

He continued, “Obviously, my brother and I love each other very much. We’re cherishing these moments because we know eventually, they’ll be gone.”

While Jason and Kylie are excited to root for Travis and the Chiefs, they left their three daughters — Wyatt, 4, Ellie, 2, and Bennett, 11 months — at home.

“I think it’s a little bit controversial, but even during regular season games, I don’t take the girls to every game. They’re still very young,” Kylie told People in a February interview. “A stadium with thousands of people can be overwhelming, and there’s three of them. It can get hectic, it’s just a lot.”
