NO JOKE Pete Davidson ‘will not be invited back to Saturday Night Live anytime soon’ as feud with Colin Jost reaches show execs
The insider claimed SNL creator Lorne Michaels caught wind of the comedians’ falling out.
PETE Davidson will not be invited to appear on Saturday Night Live anytime soon, an insider has claimed – as his feud with comedian pal Colin Jost has reached show executives.
A source exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun that fans of the show shouldn’t expect to see Pete, 30, hosting Saturday Night Live, or appearing otherwise, anytime soon.
The insider claimed that the show’s creator and producer, Lorne Michaels, even caught wind of the comedians’ clash.
“Pete and Colin’s falling out went all the way to the top and Lorne has been made aware of the situation.”
“Despite Pete being invited to host in the past- it’s not looking likely that the comedian will be invited back anytime soon.”
A rep for the show said there is “no truth” to the insider’s claim that Pete is currently not invited back on the show.
The U.S. Sun also reached out to a rep for Pete for comment.
Pete, who left the show as a full-time cast member in 2022, returned to host its premiere on October 14 2023.
The Bodies, Bodies, Bodies star was initially slated to host on May 6, 2024, however, that show was canceled and the series went on hiatus for the duration of the writer’s strike.
It returned the following season with Pete’s debut as host.
