Patrick Mahomes’ 1-Word Reaction to NFL Draft Shocker Leaves Fans Divided….

Patrick Mahomes is apparently surprised that Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur Sanders, has not been selected in the 2025 NFL draft.
On April 25, Mahomes took to X to share one word — “crazy” — without any context. However, fans instantly knew that he was reacting to Shedeur’s unfortunate news.
Most people expected Shedeur, 23, to be scooped up in the very first round, but he now remains un-drafted following the first three rounds. While some fans agree with Mahomes and can’t believe that Shedeur hasn’t been drafted, others disagreed that it’s “crazy” and don’t think Shedeur should be drafted.
“Perhaps he’s not that good at football?” one person wrote.
Crazy? Why haven’t the chiefs drafted him,” someone else said.
“You know it’s crazy when the Best QB in the League has to comment on it,” a third X user added.
When Patrick Mahomes is even saying this, you know,” a fourth comment read.
Other analysts have weighed in on what’s going on when it comes to Shedeur — and most seem to be on the same page.
“It’s gotta be about more than football,” ESPN’s Booger McFarland said during the NFL draft broadcast on the network. “He’s the best pure passer you can draft. When you start to see developmental projects like Jalen Milroe and Dillon Gabriel – and nothing against those guys, but they’re not nearly the player that Shedeur Sanders is. When they go before him, the only thing you can say is that it’s more than football.”
“I think it’s disgusting. I don’t understand what the heck’s going on with this… I don’t see, outside of [not having] the rocket arm, 4.6 speed, [6’3″, 230-pound frame], what is he lacking? Somebody’s gonna have to explain that one to me,” longtime NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. said.
Of course, there’s still hope for Shedeur, who could be picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Las Vegas Raiders as both teams are in need of a quarterback
