Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton celebrates birthday after a challenging year of health struggles

Princess of Wales, Catherine, who is also known as Kate, will be celebrating her 43rd birthday today, and it marks a momentous day following a tough year that involved her battle with cancer. Kate had taken time away from public duties to focus on her health following a diagnosis that led her to undergo chemotherapy. Kate has remained a beloved figure in the UK since marrying William in 2011. Just a few months later in September in a heartfelt video, she said that the last nine months had been “incredibly tough” for her and her family. She thanked them all for the support she had been getting and said she was now clear of cancer. Kate said, “Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus,” indicating she is working on staying healthy.
