REPORT: Brittany Mahomes Is Questioning Her Support Of Donald Trump Following His Latest Attack
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is reconsidering her support for Donald Trump.
She is now questioning the former President following his aggressive public criticism of her close friend, pop star Taylor Swift.
Trump had previously shared fake AI-generated images on social media that depicted Swift and her fans supporting him. He took things to another level when he boldly wrote, “I hate Taylor Swift!,” Trump posted in all caps on Truth Social, the website owned by the Trump.
His comments came after Swift endorsed Harris in an Instagram post last Tuesday, shortly after the presidential debate between the two major party candidates.
Brittany Mahomes, apparently, is not a fan of his words.
A new report from the Daily Mail said Mahomes was “deeply bothered” by Trump’s personal comments about her best friend.
“She is questioning her support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor, saying he hates her,” the Daily Mail said.
The report added that Brittany Mahomes was unnerved because Swift did “nothing wrong” and is “like a sister to her.”
Trump’s diss reportedly “shook [Mahomes] to her core.”
“This doesn’t mean she is suddenly voting Kamala. It has just made her more aware of supporting him so publicly,” the Daily Mail said.
The Kansas City Chiefs went 2-0 on Sunday with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals, with Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes both in attendance.
Donald Trump Has Publicly Praised Brittany Mahomes
Former President Donald Trump praised Brittany Mahomes for her apparent support of his campaign and the Republican platform for 2024.
In a post on his Truth Social account, he thanked Mahomes and praised her and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, as a “great couple.”
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote.
“With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”
Mahomes’ apparent social media like kickstarted a backlash from which she did not back down.
She would respond to the dislike on her Instagram Stories.
“I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.”
