Robert Griffin III Had Everyone In Shambles After Asking Controversial Question About A Taylor Swift Video From Chiefs-Bengals Game
Former NFL quarterback and fired ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III had a question about Taylor Swift.
Since Swift went public with her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, viewership during NFL games has skyrocketed. However, some fans have also complained nonstop about her being shown.
On Sunday, Taylor Swift was inside Arrowhead Stadium, and cameras tracked her as she moved through the stadium and whenever she moved in her suite.
Robert Griffin III recorded the moment the Kansas City Chiefs won a game-winning field, and cameras showed Swift celebrating in her suite.
Griffin asked fans, “Dear Football fans and Swifties, this is a safe space. Why does this bother so many people?”
He even came up with the perfect way for the league to increase sales of their popular video game.
“Taylor Swifts’ new album The Tortured Poets Department SHATTERED the Spotify record for most streamed album in a single day in 2024 in less than 12 hours. There is no doubt that this Madden Cover would lead to the greatest-selling Madden Game of all time,” Griffin wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Robert Griffin III Previously Discusses Taylor Swift’s Impact on the NFL
Taylor Swift continues to leave a mark on the NFL with each game that she attends.
Some argue that her public image has been bolstered by her relationship with Travis Kelce, her boyfriend.
Former NFL quarterback and free agent analyst Robert Griffin III discussed how the All-Pro tight end has made a difference for the “Bad Blood” singer:
“Taylor Swift has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the NFL this season by bringing her fans to watch the broadcast. But I also believe that the NFL and Travis have done monumental things for Taylor Swift as well. I think it’s humanized her even more.”
Griffin highlighted that Swift chugging a beer on the jumbotron at Allegiant Stadium was a surprising moment.
“I feel like chugging a beer on the jumbotron is not something you associate with the woman who’s singing “Sweeter than Fiction,” you know what I’m saying?” he said.
