Sophie Turner’s ‘deliciously naughty’ revenge – Taylor Swift is showing that Joe Jonas doesn’t deserve her, says expert

RECENTLY-SINGLE Sophie Turner has been enjoying some quality girl time since moving into Taylor Swift’s New York City apartment.

But while it’s likely serving as a “welcome distraction,” a psychologist has said Sophie and Taylor’s friendship is also the “perfect revenge” on Joe Jonas.
Taylor, 33, has been seen out and about with Sophie, 27, for dinners and a football game in New York.

This came as the pop icon kicked off a relationship with NFL legend Travis Kelce and as Sophie split from her Jonas Brothers star ex in September.

Game of Thrones actress Sophie, who has fallen into a custody battle over the former couple’s children, has since moved into the Cruel Summer hitmaker’s New York pad.

While Sophie’s steps might have raised eyebrows, psychologist Jo Hemmings told The U.S. Sun: “A message has been delivered.”

Taylor and Sophie have known one another for years but seem to have been acquaintances rather than close friends.

Hemmings thinks their roommate situation and high-profile outings are strategic.

“It might seem strange to see this all play out so visibly,” she said.

“For one, Sophie can afford her own apartment of course.

“How deliciously naughty for Taylor to offer Sophie her home for a while.

“This is perfect revenge and a highly public snub to Joe — there is no need for the usual bitterness and acrimony on Instagram.

“Similarly, Taylor and Sophie going out and having a wild time together will make Joe feel bad.

“This strengthening friendship is not doing either of their profiles any harm.

“They are exercising and exhibiting proper girl code here.”

Hemmings noted how Taylor’s contrasting love life may help bouy Sophie up.

The pop superstar triggered a media frenzy when she showed up to two NFL games and supported Kelce.

“Taylor is unlikely to be bragging about her new relationship but letting Sophie share her distress,” she said.

“The message from Taylor is that Sophie does not need to waste time grieving over a man who does not deserve her.
This is saying that healing is possible and a new love will not be too far away.

“After all, Taylor has had her fair share and could use it as a reassuring narrative.

“Taylor’s new relationship might help Sophie see that she can move on and find a new partner.”

Joe filed for divorce from Turner in September after a four-year marriage.

Events took a turn with the pair battling over Sophie wanting to relocate their two kids to the UK.

Taylor dated Joe in 2008. At first, they kept their romance under wraps.

But during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she famously claimed he had dumped her in a 27-second phone call.

“That guy’s not in my life anymore, unfortunately,” Taylor said at the time.

Hemmings suggested Taylor and Sophie appear united in their disappointment in Joe.

“Taylor is probably swapping some salacious tales of his behavior, ” she said.

“This will help Sophie realize that their divorce might not be such a bad thing.

“Taylor has also found herself in more than one messy relationship.

“She supposedly wrote about Joe post-breakup.”

According to HuffPost, the Anti-Hero singer met Sophie in 2019 on The Graham Norton Show.

Hemmings added: “I imagine Taylor reached out to Sophie recently, rather than the other way around.

“But this has definitely curated for maximum exposure and misery for Joe.

“It is a brilliantly executed plan.

“Not only will it annoy Joe but it also gives the two of them exactly the kind of media coverage that money can not buy.

“He is likely to be feeling pretty annoyed over seeing the two of them out on the town and Sophie staying at Taylor’s place.

“They look like they are having fun and do not have a care in the world.

“The message has been delivered to Joe in the smartest possible way.”
