Taylor Swift has seemingly dropped a hint about the release of Reputation: Taylor’s Version tonight.
Fans have been hotly anticipating the release of Taylor’s version of her hit album Reputation. She had started re-recording her albums, with the singer having already released a number of new versions of her albums, with Reputation likely next on the agenda.
Last night, as she performed at Wembley Stadium in London, fans were convinced they had spotted a clue which “proved” Reputation: Taylor’s Version was coming soon. Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance at the Thursday show, where she sang Ed Game with the singer before doing a rendition of King of My Heart as one of the surprise songs. Could this be a clue Reputation TV is on its way?
In her speech following Ed’s appearance, she said: “Every time I am doing the Red part of this show, I think about the memories that we’ve made. And now he is someone who plays Wembley, like every week — this is like regular for him and he works so hard. He’s on tour right now and he’s probably so tired but he wanted to come and play for you and do this for all of us so give it up for Ed!”

It comes after fans were left convinced that the Olympics Closing Ceremony this evening was a nod to Taylor’s potential new album. One fan wrote: “Now we are entering in Reputation’s era @taylornation13 #ClosingCeremony,” whilst another shared: “definitely getting some reputation vibes #ClosingCeremony.” A third penned: “It’s so reputation taylors version coded #ClosingCeremony.”
There had previously been much speculation that Taylor would use the 100th show of The Eras Tour – which also fell on June 13th (an important number among Swifties) – to announce Reputation: Taylor’s Version.
However, her 100th show was actually used to announce that the Eras Tour would end in December. Speaking to the cheering audience, she said: “You know, this is actually the 100th show of the tour. That blows my mind. That doesn’t feel like a real statistic to me, because this has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life, this tour, these moments with you.
“You know, a lot of you were like, ‘Well, how are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’ And for me, the celebration of the 100th show means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that’s it. That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.”
