Taylor Swift fed over 900 people with a food bank donation during a recent stop on her massively successful Eras Tour.
The 34-year-old has been hurtling around the world during her current run of concerts, an economic juggernaut that tipped her over the line into billionaire status.
On the way, she has been giving away money to help the hungry, providing hundreds of thousands of meals in the US, according to the Associated Press.
She continued the trend while performing in the UK this summer, contributing to food banks in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Liverpool.
Now it has emerged that the money she gave in Cardiff went to emergency food parcels for a whopping 925 people, via the BBC.
When the amount went public, the Cardiff Foodbank issued a touching statement thanking Taylor for the assistance she gave them.
‘We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift not only for her generous donation, but for shining a light on the global issue of poverty,’ they wrote on Facebook.
‘We have spent Taylor’s generous donation and are grateful to the continued support of the general public,’ the statement continued.
‘As we head into the busiest time of the year, if you’re able to do so please donate food or money to help us make sure that no one in Cardiff goes hungry.’
Taylor performed at the Welsh capital’s Principality Stadium on July 18, and shortly thereafter it emerged she had contributed to the local food bank.
