Taylor Swift shares unreleased video with Travis Kelce and her cat Benjamin Button to promote Fortnight

Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department album dropped on April 19

Taylor Swift continues in the prime of her career with her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, showcasing another peak for the 34-year-old, who used Travis Kelce and her cat in order to help promote one of her songs.

Kelce has been dating the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end since August 2023 and it hasn’t taken him long to become a part of her musical journey through the world as he features in her track titled “Fortnight” along with their feline friend.

In a promotional video, centered around her home life, the three-time Super Bowl champion appears and kisses his girlfriend on her cheek as she cooks something on the stove. The YouTube montage also includes clips of Swift in Singapore with her Eras Tour, in the recording studio, sewing, playing pickleball and drinking cocktails in a rare glimpse to how she lives away from the cameras.

Fans also speculate that some of the lyrics in other songs such as The Alchemy or So High School are also references to her football boyfriend as she makes references to his sport and suggests their romance feels like a high school romance too.

Fortnight is the first single Swift showed to the world when she finally released the much-anticipated album during which she collaborates with Post Malone, an artist she has a lot of respect for.

“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is,” Swift said, announcing his role in Fortnight on Instagram. “His musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever.

“I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight.”
