Over the years, many celebrities have been vocal in their opposition to Donald Trump. Several actors, musicians and social media influencers have used their platforms to criticise the Republican for his policies, rhetoric, and leadership. Below are some of the biggest critics of Donald Trump, who was declared the 47th President of the United States Wednesday, after a landslide victory in the elections.
Taylor Swift
Known for largely staying out of politics, Swift took a different stance after Trump’s 2016 election. Endorsing Harris, Swift said she was a “steady-handed, gifted leader”. She signed it “Childless Cat Lady” – a jab at Trump’s running mate JD Vance, who previously used the term against Democrats. Swift said that it was Trump’s use of her fake photos to show her endorsing him that made her support Harris.
