Terry Bradshaw’s Embarrassing C0MMENTS On Fox Pregame Show Have Fans QUESTI0NING How He Still Has A Job
We have a fresh NFL season underway, which mostly means fans will be calling for FOX’s Terry Bradshaw to retire from broadcasting every Sunday.
The veteran sportscaster was the subject of a good few complaints this weekend, and he did not help matters when he called Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice the wrong name.
Several fans heard Bradshaw referring to Rice as “Rasheed Wallace” during the halftime highlights, which was a bit puzzling as Wallace has been out of the news for a long time.
For the uninitiated, Rasheed Wallace is a former forward who played in the NBA for 16 seasons and won a championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.
The four-time All-Star was known for his short fuse and was involved in the infamous “Malice at the Palace” brawl during a game against the Indiana Pacers – though as a peacemaker – while the Pistons were the defending champs in November 2004.
Fans Were Calling Terry Bradshaw Out Over His Latest Blunder
Rasheed Wallace has been retired for 11 years, but it appears he’s still vivid in Bradshaw’s memory, and fans were quick to call him out after they heard his new name for the Chiefs receiver on Sunday.
“Did Terry Bradshaw call Rashee Rice “Rasheed Wallace” during halftime highlights?” one asked.
“Why Bradshaw just call Rashee Rice “Rasheed Wallace” 😂,” another laughed.
“Terry Bradshaw just called Rashee Rice by the name Rasheed Wallace…😆🤦🏻♂️‘” another comment read.
“Not Terry Bradshaw from @NFLonFOX calling Rashee Rice Rasheed Wallace lol,” someone joked.
Others called for him to retire.
While he’s one of the most scrutinized analysts on television, Bradshaw seems to have the time of his life every Sunday and likely won’t quit the gig unless he’s forced out.
