The explanation for Taylor Swift’s absence from Travis Kelce’s side at the Atlanta Chiefs game
Taylor Swift did not attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ win against the Atlanta Falcons because she is planning for her Eras Tour return as Travis Kelce put in another frustrating performance without the support of his popstar girlfriend.
The defending champions improved their record to 3-0 for the 2024/25 NFL season by winning 22-17 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium but it was another tough performance for the 34-year-old tight end, who only caught four targets for 30 yards.
It was another timid night by Kelce, who has struggled for form in the opening stages of the campaign, and it seems to be taking a toll as he looked very upset on the sidelines as the Chiefs‘ offense struggles.
But for once he was without the support of his girlfriend either pitch-side or from the executive boxes as she never made the trip to Georgia because she is busy planning her Eras Tour return, which resumes in Miami in October.
Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible,” an insider told The Sun. “Because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid, whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while.
“She wanted to hang out with them before returning to the tour soon. But she plans to return to the next game to support Travis.”
Swift has been on a break since closing out the European and Asian leg of the tour with a show at Wembley Stadium in August, a week after surviving a foiled terrorist plot by ISIS in Austria’s capital, Vienna.
The star sensation, whose tour has earned over a billion dollars, will return on October 18 and will continue on through the United States and Canada to Vancouver, where it will close for good on December 8. Gracie Adams will be the supporting act.
Who do the Kansas City Chiefs play next, and will Taylor Swift be there?
The good news for Swifties and fans of the couple is that they will not have to wait long to see the pair back together as Taylor Swift plans to attend the Kansas City Chiefs‘ game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Week 4 match will take place on Sunday, September 29 at the So-Fi Stadium in California and will kick-off at 16:25 ET/13:25 PT.
