Travis Kelce is at a loss for words to thank Hollywood Brown for his return: “He’s the swag champ”
The Chiefs receiver spent three months recovering from a shoulder injury.
As much as losing him was a tough blow for the Kansas City Chiefs, the return of Marquise Brown has been a turning point for the team. Although he has only played two games after recovering from his injury, the receiver has already made a difference, and no one is happier about it than star tight end Travis Kelce.
Hollywood” Brown was supposed to arrive to revolutionize the offense led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. However, fate had other plans for the receiver, who got injured during the preseason without having officially set foot on the field in Chiefs colors.

Brown spent the next three months nursing a dislocated sternoclavicular joint, watching his team trying to make up for his absence. Two weeks ago, Brown finally debuted with the Chiefs, earning praise from the team, starting with Kelce.
The return of the “swag champ”
At a press conference after the Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Travis Kelce recalled that when he saw Brown back at practice, “I was like, ‘That’s the guy we’ve missed.'”
He didn’t hide his admiration for Brown, saying, “It’s been fun having him, his energy is up, he’s a guy tat fuels you through the week, and he’s a swag champ
Kelce admitted Hollywood knows how to get noticed during a game. “He’s one of those guys that you can feel his presence when you’re out there on the field with him.”
What’s in store for Hollywood Brown
On Sunday, January 5, the Chiefs will visit Empower Field at Mile High to face the Denver Broncos, with nothing else to win in the regular season. The team has already secured the Western Division title, first place in the AFC, and home-field advantage for the playoffs.
Given this scenario, it’s a safe bet that head coach Andy Reid will rest his starters except for Brown. The star WR will have to continue to get back into football shape, in preparation for a postseason where the Chiefs will be counting on him to fight for the unprecedented three-peat
