Travis Kelce has admitted he must ‘keep my f***ing cool’ after his sideline rage
The tight end was furious as the Chiefs suffered another loss on Christmas Day
Travis Kelce has admitted he has to ‘keep my f***ing cool’ on the sideline after his meltdown in front of girlfriend Taylor Swift during the Chiefs’ 20-14 loss to the Raiders on Christmas Day.
On another disastrous afternoon for Kansas City, Kelce and his offensive teammates gifted their opponents back-to-back defensive touchdowns in an NFL record seven seconds.
As Kelce made his way back to the sidelines he threw his helmet into the ground in disgust, sending it flying through the air and into the stands.
Moments later, a coach then tried to give Kelce a replacement, but was stopped by head coach Andy Reid, who then gave the tight end a talking to of his own.

In an angry exchange, Reid could be seen bumping into Kelce on a busy sideline, before the player then moves away to cool down.
Speaking about the incident on the latest episode of New Heights alongside his brother Jason, Kelce conceded that his antics were not helpful to the team.
‘He (coach Reid) is looking out for me and I love him for it,’ Kelce said.
‘I didn’t go back out there and play good. He wanted to see the fire in me and I reacted in a bad way.
‘He wanted the best out of me and right now I’m just not playing my best football.
‘I’ve got to f***ing lock the f*** in and be more accountable for him and more accountable for my teammates.
‘I’ve got to keep my f***ing cool man because as a leader on this team that’s not how you switch momentum.’
At halftime, the Chiefs were booed off the field – and it was a far-from-Happy Christmas for the fervent home support at Arrowhead.
They squandered an opportunity to clinch the AFC West for the eighth consecutive year with one of their worst performances of the Patrick Mahomes era.

The Raiders got a pair of defensive touchdowns for the second straight week, including a pick-six of the struggling Mahomes.
Big defensive tackle Bilal Nichols returned a fumble eight yards for a touchdown, and Jack Jones took an interception 33 yards for another score seven seconds later, helping the Raiders snap a six-game losing streak to the Chiefs.
The Chiefs still had a chance after Mahomes hit Justin Watson for a touchdown with 2:42 to go.
But on the ensuing possession, the Raiders’ Zamir White got loose for a 43-yard gain, picking up a first down that allowed them to run out the clock.
In the stands, Taylor Swift watched on in a Kelce-themed Christmas hat alongside both of her parents, with mom Andrea believed to be attending her first Chiefs game alongside her daughter.
It is believed Kelce and Swift will spend the next week together, before the Chiefs play again on New Year’s Eve.
The pop superstar is currently enjoying some time off before the next leg of her sold-out Eras tour, which heads to Tokyo at the start of February.
