VIDEO: Travis Kelce Reveals The One ‘Golden Rule’ He Had With Taylor Swift Last Month
It’s no secret that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour remains one of the biggest concerts everyone wants to attend, and Travis Kelce got the opportunity of a lifetime when he found himself actually on stage.
Last month, Taylor Swift played three massive shows at Wembley Stadium in London, which featured a ton of great surprises. Absolutely nothing prepared her fan base for what happened at the third Wembley show, when Travis Kelce actually appeared on stage.
Dressed in a tuxedo, top hat, and red-bottomed shoes, Travis appeared during the Tortured Poets Department section of the show, and fans went nuts.
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end finally had a chance to speak about it on his podcast show.
Before he took the stage, Kelce stated he gave himself one rule, and that was to not drop Taylor Swift while he was carrying her.
“The one thing I told myself is, ‘Do not drop the baby,’” Kelce said on the
New Heights podcast, referring to Swift. “‘Do not drop Taylor on your way over to his [expletive] couch.’ I was gonna do some like extra stuff, if I ever do it again I might do it. But the golden rule was do not drop Taylor – just get her to the couch.”
His brother and co-host Jason Kelce laughed, adding: “No fumbles.”
During his time on stage, Travis Kelce could be seen touching up Taylor’s makeup, reacting to her outfit change, and then carrying her over to a red couch on stage.
The Chiefs star, who has been dating Swift for nearly a year, is unlikely to hit many more shows as the team’s training camp will be opening up later this month as the 2024 season draws near.
Travis Kelce Declined to Appear on Netflix’s ‘Receiver’
Travis Kelce can appear on stage with Taylor Swift, but he is not interested in appearing on reality television.
The Chiefs star tight end declined the opportunity to be in the Netflix series “Receiver,” which is a follow-up to the “Quarterback” series.
“After Pat did it, I did get asked about it. I don’t know. I’d rather just play ball, man,” Kelce said on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast. “I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything,”
With Chiefs training camp opening soon, Kelce has other things to focus on, like the team trying to make history and winning three-straight Super Bowls.
