WATCH: Taylor Swift Reacts to Travis Kelce slapping a Fan who disrespected her in public
Outside of their heavily publicized relationship (which appears to be as strong as ever), Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have jam-packed schedules moving forward.
Kelce is preparing for his 12th season with the Kansas City Chiefs as he looks to add to his Hall of Fame-worthy resume, which already includes three Super Bowls and nine All-Pro nominations.
Meanwhile, Swift continues a record-breaking run on her Eras tour which started in March 2023 and is not set to end until December 2024. That tour was also recorded and made into a movie, breaking multiple box office records once it hit the big screen in October 2023.
She is also enjoying the release of her latest studio album, The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD), which broke various sales records upon its May 2024 debut (per Billboard) and was incorporated into her Eras Tour performances.
As if that was not enough, she is rumored to be playing the musical mutant Dazzler in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, which hits theaters on July 29. Those rumors hit a new high after the closing line of her final track on TTPD, “Clara Bow,” sneakily concluded with the word “dazzling.”
Through all of this, Kelce and Swift show no signs of being anywhere close to a break-up, much to the relief of millions of fans who have followed their love affair since it became a reality.
Travis Kelce Slaps Fan for Dissing Taylor Swift in Public
Travis Kelce had a priceless response to a fan making a joke about Taylor Swift while playing golf at the American Century Championship. Travis Kelce knows how to shake off a little smack talk.
Case in point: The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had the perfect reaction to a fan dissing him over his golfing skills using a reference to girlfriend Taylor Swift during the American Century Championship tournament July 13.
After Travis took a shot that didn’t send the ball where he needed it to go, the onlooker shouted, “That’s alright, you still got Taylor.”
And the 34-year-old was quick to laugh the dig off, pointing out into the crowd with a smile before quipping, “You ain’t lying.”
This wasn’t the only time Taylor, also 34, came up during Travis’ tournament. While playing another hole, the NFL star was seen singing along to her song “Lavender Haze,” and he also provided some insight into whether fans can expect him to join her again on the Eras Tour stage anytime soon.
“I can’t let anything out of the bag,” Travis told NBC Sports in a video published July 13. “But right now I’m in full football mode after golf.”
As for why Taylor couldn’t physically be there for Travis’ Lake Tahoe, Calif., sporting event? The “Cruel Summer” singer is currently playing several Eras Tour shows in Milan, Italy.
And while Travis won’t be in the audience for these concerts, he’s had a blast at plenty of other tour stops along the way.
