“I Feel Like An Amateur… But I’m Coachable” – Travis Kelce On His Upcoming Role In TV Horror Series ‘Grotesquerie’…
Travis Kelce the Renaissance man.
It’s no secret that Travis Kelce’s life has rocketed into the limelight since dating Taylor Swift, but the star NFL player is more than just the boyfriend of a mega superstar; he is also staying busy himself. The three-time Super Bowl champion has become more than just a football player with the help of his relationship.
Outside of having a podcast co-host on his resume, Kelce is adding public speaker, sports drink entrepreneur, and, most recently, actor. Some might consider his time as the star of the Catching Kelce reality TV show as the start of his acting career, but this time, it’s with a script making it the real deal. Kelce recently landed his first Hollywood acting role in the FX horror series Grotesquerie.

Kelce recently sat down with Good Morning America and expressed his excitement about the role.
“I’ve been on a few shows before; I’ve only played myself in those shows those. It’s definitely different portraying a character and trying to find the emotions in everything and understanding of the script and the scene.
It’s a challenge. I feel like an amateur right now, but I’m coachable. That’s one thing I know from being in sports: I’m a coachable guy.”
Ironically, during the interview, he was on set shooting a commercial for the energy drink he invests in, sporting a Ron Burgandy-style costume as he delivered lines for the ad.
Grotesquerie has a star-studded cast, including Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville, and is slated for a fall premiere date. What better timing to watch the tight end on the field for the Kansas City Chiefs and then on your TV screen during (what could become) your favorite show.
I’m no horror fan, but I can tell you I’ll be tuning in to watch Kelce on the horror series.
