Taylor Swift Says Her Latest Era Feels ‘Really Luxurious,’ Will Include ‘Unique’ Poems and ‘More Images Than We Ever Planned’

The “Fortnight” singer, 35, is revealing what Swifties can expect from the release of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl — including exclusive photocards and poems tied to the era — 13 days ahead of its Oct. 3 release.
In an Instagram video on Saturday, Sept. 20, the Grammy winner gushed about her “extraordinary” album photo shoot with Martin Marcus — and admitted she loved it so much that she released more photos than she initially intended.
“I just wanted the fans to have as many images from this sort of world this album era as possible,” Swift said in the video. “And so I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and the best packaging and the best CD experience that they could have.”
“So we’ve got — the CDs all have photo cards in them, the vinyls, they each have a poem inside of them, a unique poem,” she continued. “They’ve got more images than we ever planned to put in there.”
